The pocket size spacer?

Every study I've ever seen on the subject show that using an inhaler with a spacer makes the medicine work up to 75 percent better than not using an inhaler.  Respiratory therapists, myself included, are taught never to give an inhaler to a patient without a spacer. 

This Optihaler is marketed as a "pocket spacer." Sure it's smaller than most spacers, but I can't imagine stuffing... no! Can you? It just wouldn't be good.

Manufacturers and marketers are gonna have to keep working on this one.  In the meantime, I find my rescue inhaler works just fine without a spacer.
